Live Music During Covid 19

Being a musician during the Pandemic of 2020 has been a huge struggle. Not only are working musicians not able to work, but the public has been unable to listen to live music, which for many , is soul crushing. The band I sing in named “Tupelo” has not played live in nearly a year, and along with other local singers and players, our hearts are broken.

To the owners and employees of venues that support live music, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Without people like you, artists would not be able to play and quite frankly would not be able to earn a living. For our band, music is our passion, not our career, but for many musicians it is their only source of income. It is the career they set for , practiced for , and played their hearts out for.

As we begin the year 2021, it is my hope that the world will soon be able to enjoy live music again. Whether you are a musician, or a fan of live music, supporting local clubs will help ensure that great bands will be able to continue to play! Rock On!
